Ber N. Magda is a Mexican, transborder creator working across fiction and arts writing to explore the borderlands of culture, desire, and capitalism – with work published by PreCog Mag, Lumbung Press, and OC Norway. Ber has collaborated with artists and communities in the global south to expand dominant notions of authorship. Her is currently pursuing an MFA at The New School and is at work on a novella about a transborder heist set in an unmade borderlands territory.
Promiti Islam (she/they) is a writer and educator whose work centers stories of resilience, survival, nature, and expansion. Promiti has a BA in from Wesleyan University, an MA from Columbia University – Teachers College, and is currently an MFA Candidate in Fiction at The New School. They have published work in Catapult magazine and Asian American Writers’ Workshop, The Margins, were a Kundiman Mentorship Lab fellow in Creative Non-Fiction, and a Finalist for the Vera List Center Writing Awards in 2026. Promiti has been an artist-in-residence at The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences, Peter Bullough Foundation, and The Wedding Cake House at Dirt Palace. They love the ocean, black eyeliner, and grapefruit seltzer.

Afi Alexandra (it/its) is a writer and research fellow at the SexTech Lab. It is most interested in hybrid forms while deconstructing ideas like national identity, language, generational memory, grief, and consumption. It misses eating sambal terasi with every meal and hopes to one day reside in a house with a lemon tree in its back garden.
Rachel Charney Mckenzie is a Montreal-based writer completing her MFA in Creative Writing at The New School. She writes at the intersections of place and displacement, memory, power, and poetics. Her fiction and non-fiction have appeared in Arkana Magazine, Public Seminar, and Tethered Literary. She is a lawyer by training, but prefers breaking rules to making, interpreting, or enforcing them. She is currently working on her debut untitled novel, a hybrid fiction project, and a short story collection.
Elijah Ager Luckett is a Queens-based writer currently pursuing an MFA in Fiction at The New School. He holds a BS in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Creative Writing and previously worked as a software engineer at Keysight. His work has appeared in Short Beasts, and he serves as a fiction reader for LIT Magazine. He has also worked as a lead web designer for Back Matter Magazine and other literary publications. His fiction explores race, human connection, and selfhood, often blending the mundane and the surreal.
