Saturday and Sunday should be our time to rejuvenate our moods and reset our brains. And in theory, we do—by drinking copiously, sleeping in, and generally lazing around.

Yet come Monday, we tend to feel less bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and more like we’ve been hit over the head with a hammer made out of apathy. You are once again just a cog in the machine, and you have to wait five long days for another mid-morning Bloody Mary.
