Later this month, the 23rd installment in the Bond film franchise will open across Europe when British actor Daniel Craig appears in “Skyfall.” For the film-loving oenophile, pre-release publicity has centered on the fact that Bond, who usually when he isn’t ordering wine will only ever sip Martini—always shaken, never stirred—will also consume the Dutch lager Heineken in “Skyfall.” The move has been defended by the film’s producers, who argue that Bond is one of the few Hollywood fictional heroes who generally enjoys a drink. In fact, compared with one of his fictional counterparts, Jason Bourne of Robert Ludlum’s “Bourne” series, he could be described as a heavy drinker.
